After Power : Poole

This set of black & white photographic prints were shown with an accompanying video which I made while visiting the site of the world's worst nuclear disaster at Chernobyl. It was only after I had submitted the work that I realised the connection between the two pieces. The infamous meltdown of reactor four occurred in 1986, the same year I took the photos of the decommissioned Poole Power Station as part of an art college project.
